About the conference
The prime objective of organizing NCETSE – 2017 is to bring experts and researchers from Academia, R&D centers and industries working in the emerging fields of science and engineering together and provide them a platform for interacting and sharing their research findings. The conference aims at creating research interest in the minds of young graduates to pursue research as their carrier. We sincerely hope that NCETSE – 2017 will facilitate as a platform to increase the scope and promote interdisciplinary research among researchers and helps in presenting technological advancements in the emerging areas of science and engineering.

Call for papers
Consistent to the NCETSE-2017 theme, we invite contributions from researchers, academicians, engineers and students to submit abstract of articles, which may be conceptual, theoretical or empirical in nature. They may document research activity, case studies or best practices, shedding light on the theory or practice in the related emerging fields of science and engineering. Original contributions from the authors are invited in the following topics/areas and not limited to:

The technical programme of NCETSE-2017 comprises of invited lectures on selected topics by eminent scholars/academicians/industry personalities and plenary sessions, in addition to the presentation of accepted papers.

The abstract of research paper should be submitted in the format provided in the website www.sode-edu.in
The abstract in electronic format (doc/docx) should be submitted through email to smvitm@gmail.com
All the papers will be evaluated by a technical paper review committee through a fair and rigorous peer review procedure to guarantee a conference of the highest quality. All accepted abstract of papers will be included in the conference proceedings and scheduled for presentation only on the condition that the author(s) personally will be making the presentation at the Conference.

Registration Details
Participants are requested to fill in the registration form and send it along with the registration fee to the contact address given below. The registration form may also be downloaded from www.sode-edu.in. At least one author of each accepted paper must register to get the paper included in the Conference Program. Only one paper will be considered for presentation against each registration.
Registration fee is to be paid through a DD drawn in favour of SMVIT-NC payable at Udupi. The fee can also be paid through NEFT to the following account.

Host City
Udupi, popularly known as the temple town, is famous for its temples and cuisine. It is a relatively small but a culturally vibrant and intellectually enlightened town situated in Coastal Karnataka. Trains from Mumbai and Delhi running towards Kerala and vice versa on the Konkan route stop at Udupi station, which is about 16 kilometers from SMVITM. Trains coming from Chennai terminate at Mangalore Central, which is about 60 Km from SMVITM. Udupi is also well connected by road to major cities in Karnataka like Bangalore, Belgaum, Davanagere, Hubli, Mysore and Shimoga, as also with several major cities in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport, which is connected by domestic flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
