Virtual Alumni Meet -2020” at SMVITM, Bantakal

Virtual Alumni Meet -2020” of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal was organized virtually on 21 November 2020. More than 200 alumni members of SMVITM participated in this event and over 1000 members viewed it through YouTube live.

Prof. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of the institution welcomed the participants and briefed them on the achievements of the institute during the year 2019-20. Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary, Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi congratulated all the alumni for their continuous support to the institution. Mr. Roshan S Kotian, Assistant professor and Institutional Alumni coordinator informed the role of alumni and events held by the association to date. “Shree Devadas Kapikad” Telikeda Bolli fame, Coastal wood actor joined as special invitee gave a positive vibe to become a successful person and also performed in the event. Ms. Sushma Udupa, B.E in Biotechnology, Carnatic Vocalist presently residing in Norway entertained the participants with a melodious singing performance. As an entertainment program; activities, memory sharing, and alumni performance were held. Mr Karthik V, Assistant professor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Ms. Samanvitha Bhagavath, Alumna of SMVITM compered the event.
