VANAMAHOTHSAVA – 2018

The National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Rotaract Club (RC) of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, in association with ECO club of SMVITM have organized Vanamahothsava program in the institute premises on Tuesday, 7^th August 2018. Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET inaugurated the program by planting a sapling. Prof. Dr. Thirumalshwara Bhat, Principal, Mr. Kishor Kumar Aroor, Coordinator NSS wing. Mr. Sunil Haldankar, Coordinator of Eco Club, HODs of various departments, students and staff members witnessed the event.

Newly joined First year students were also took part in the program. Fruits and medicinal saplings were planted in the campus during the program. The program was held as a part of the on-going efforts to make the campus greener and more beautiful.
