Technical talk on “Nanotechnology”

ISTE Student Chapter, in association with the department of Mechanical Engineering, conducted a Technical talk on “Nanotechnology”, on 11^th March 2017 in the college premises. Dr. Prasad Vishnubhotla, Chief Research Scientist, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru was resource person.  Second year Mechanical Engineering students attended the talk and interacted with the resource person.

Dr. Prasad Vishnubhotla highlighted the history of Nanotechnology and its properties also he explained the synthesis of nanomaterials and its applications in various fields such as biomedical, sports, aircraft and various other industrial applications.

Prof. Dr. SudarshanRao, HOD Mechanical Department of SMVITM, welcomed the resource person with a flower bouquet. The program was arranged by Mr.Ganesh R Kalagi and Mr.Pavan Kumara Asst. professors, ISTE Coordinators of Mechanical Engineering Dept.
