Technical Talk on “How to Write Technical Paper”

The department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISTE Student chapter has organized Technical talk on “How to Write Technical Paper” on Wednesday, 30^th October, 2019 for the benefit of final year Mechanical Engineering students. Dr. Sudarshan Rao K, Professor and Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, SMVITM, Bantakal was the resource persons of the talk.

The talk includes how to find the suitable journal papers for the projects, technical paper and its different types, journal ranking methods, popular journal indexing agencies, details about structure of paper, checklist for submitting paper and publication ethics. Around 60 Students of Mechanical Engineering have attended the talk.

Mr. Ganesh Kalagi and Mr. Manjunath S, Sr. Assistant professors, Mechanical Engineering Department have coordinated this talk.
