Teachers’ Day Celebration

The ISTE Faculty Chapter of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal organized the Teachers’ day celebration at its premises.

Shri Sheshashayana Karinje, DDPI, Udupi was the Chief Guest for the event. In his inaugural address, he spoke about roles and responsibilities of teachers in the present scenario of New Education Policy. The program is presided over by Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust. In his presidential remarks, he suggested the faculty members to motivate the students to take up competitive exams. Former Professor of Chemistry Dr. K K Srinivasan, Shri Sheshashayana Karinje, DDPI, Udupi  and Shri Ashok Kamath, Senior Lecturer of DIET were felicitated on the occasion for their contribution to the academic sector. Dr. K K Srinivasan in his address shared his experiences of a long teaching career of over 46 years. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, and Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice-Principal of SMVITM were present on the dais.

The Principal Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat gave a brief overview of about the Teachers Day celebration and welcomed the gathering. The program began with the invocation by Ms. Sowmya S and Ms. Ramyashree compered the program.
