Talk on ‘Substance Abuse’

The “Counselling Cell” of SMVITM in association with ISTE faculty chapter had organized a seminar on ‘Substance Abuse’ on 12/02/2018 in the institute premises. Dr.Vasudeva S, Psychiatrist, Govt. Hospital, Udupi delivered a detailed description about the ill effects of fatal drugs which are hampering the precious life of the youth. He said disciplined lifestyle, incorporating certain ethics, focus towards the goal of life, strong will power, avoiding bad friend’s circle etc. are the feasible solutions for not to fall prey to ‘Substance Abuse’. All counselling cell members were present in the event. Mrs. Shashikala R introduced the resource person.
