Talk on project implementation and preparedness

Civil Engineering department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal in association with ISTE student chapter and Sthapathi Student club organized a talk on project implementation and preparedness by Architect Yogish Chandra Dhara, Partner A G Associates, Udupi on 29^th November 2021 at college premises for the students of Civil Engineering department.

Mr. Yogish Chandra Dhara addressed the students on handling the projects with professional obligations and how professionals are different from businessmen. He also stressed the significant role of professional engineers in nation-building and inspired the students to take up the opportunities which are abundantly available in the country but need to update their knowledge and skill.

Speaker displayed the case study of the various projects designed and constructed by his own firm and explained cantilever concept adopted in his own office building A G A Kantilever building at Udupi, construction challenges and implementation in Zilla panchayathi Building, Madikeri and Architectural features in Government technical University, Challakerer and many more.

Ms. Priyanka D’Souza welcomed the gathering, Ms. Anwitha introduced the speaker, Mr. Rakshith, ISTE student secretary proposed the vote of thanks, Ms. Janvi N compeered the program. Dr. Sandeep J Nayak, Head of the department concluded the program. Mr. Sooraj Kumar & Mr. Madhusoodhana Rao, Assistant Professors organized the program.
