ONE-DAY SEMINAR ON ‘CRYOGENICS’

Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISTE student chapter of SMVITM Bantakal organized one-day seminar on CRYOGENICS for Mechanical Engineering Student of various engineering colleges on 24^th March 2018.

55 students from various engineering colleges have participated in the event and shown keen interest to learn the concepts of cryogenics shared by different resource persons.

The sessions started with lecture of Mr. Ajith G. Joshi, CEC Bantwal on Methods of producing low temperatures, followed by Mr. Ganesh R. Kalagi, who delivered talk on effect of cryogenics temperatures on materials behavior. Mr. Raja Yateesh Yadav in his presentation explained the methods of storing cryogenic fluids. The seminar ended with applications of cryogenics lecture delivered by Mr. Sudhir of SMVITM, Bantakal

Principal Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat and Prof. Dr. Sudarshan Rao K., Head of Mechanical Engineering addressed participants and congratulated students for attending the seminar and making the program success.
