LAKSHYA – GATE 2021

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the Technical Committee had organized the training program ” LAKSHYA”- GATE 2021, to provide motivation and aspiration for students to pursue their higher studies. The program was held from 04 January 2021 to 15th  January 2021 for the benefit of Pre-Final and Final year students. 3rd year and 4th year CSE students are participated and took benefit of this program.

The inauguration of the event was held on January 04th, 2021 at 2.30 PM. The first day session is on 4th January 2021 by Mr. Praveen M Naik Research Scholar at NITK Surthkal on the topic Theory of Computation and Tips and tricks for GATE Exam. On 6th January, we had session on Discreate Mathematics by Dr.Vasudeva Dean (Research and consultancy) at SMVITM. On 7th January, we had session on Logic Design by Mr.Deepak Rao M senior assistant professor CSE Dept. at SMVITM. On 8th January, Programming and Data Structures by Ms. Sneha N.S/ Mr.Shrinivasa senior assistant professors CSE Dept. On 9th  and 13th  January, we had session on Computer Networks and operating Syatem by Mr.Krishnaraj Chadaga Assiatant professor at SMVITM. On 11th January, we had session on Algorithms by  Ms.Sahana Karanth senior assistant professor CSE Dept. at SMVITMOn 12th January, we had session on Database  by Mr.Manjunath A S senior assistant professor CSE Dept. at SMVITM. On 15th January, we had session on Compiler Design by Ms.Sahana Karanth senior assistant professor CSE Dept. at SMVITM

The programme helped GATE 2021 CS/IT paper aspirants. Around 30 participants made use of this programme. The valedictory session of the LAKSHYA GATE-2021 Program was held on 15-01-2021 with the brief report delivered by Ms. Rukmini Bhat B Senior Assistant Professor Computer Science Department and Ms. Sneha N S Technical Committee member of the computer Science Department who played a major role in the smooth conduction of the programme.
