Invited talk on account of National Science Day

On the occasion of National Science Day, the student chapter of the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal , organized an invited talk on 28 February 2023 on the topic “Global Science for Global Wellbeing” at 3.00 P.M. in the seminar hall (Admin Block).

Mr. Vargees P., Principal, Government PU College, Malpe, Udupi, was the speaker. While addressing students he spoke about the importance of science in everyday life, he emphasized on the Raman effect, named after the Scientist who discovered it and to commemorate this discovery we celebrate the National Science Day. He told that though most of the inventions were accidental, they play a prominent role to eradicate the epidemics and for the humanitarian cause. As inventions are noteworthy for a country the scientist are the treasures, hence a country can evolve thanks to scientists who find a new approach to problems and prove new  scientific law and solutions. He concluded with a remark that students must question, think, search and discover, which paves way to the inventions.

Dr. Ravindra H. J., Head Department of Physics, welcomed the guest florally. The program was compeered by Ms. Deviktha Hegde and Ms. Priyanka of first year CSE. The branch heads, teaching & non-teaching staff and students were present for the program.
