Interaction with Prof. Shuichi Torrii from Japan

Prof. Shuichi Torrii, Professor of Kumamoto University, a highly reputed University of Japan, has paid a visit to Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on 25 September 2019. As part of the visit he addressed the Mechanical and Civil Engineering students of the college under the banner of ISTE Chapter. He spoke on the topic of “Renewable energy and Energy conversion” where he explained various methods adapted in Japan for generating non-conventional energy and also highlighted the scope for further research.

Principal of SMVITM, Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Ganesh Aithal and other Professors and Heads of the Department were present during this occasion. Later he visited various department of the college and appreciated the facilities offered to the students
