Inauguration of the Virtual lab at SMVITM

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal witnessed the inauguration of the newly developed Virtual lab on 24 October 2020 on the eve of Navarathri in the hands of Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, Udupi

Due to COVID pandemic the students are not able to use the lab facilities available in the college. To cater the need of continuous learning of the students ‘Virtual lab’ was designed and developed by Dr. Raghavendra S. Associate Professor and team from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Currently it is available for Web development Lab and C Programming Laboratory and the department has the plan to extend it to other laboratory subjects too. Briefing about its importance Dr. Raghavendra S. demonstrated the working of the virtual Lab application to all the faculty members of the college.

Shri Rathnakumar also re-launched the college website with new look and additional features.

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, SMVITM, Vice Principal, Deans , HoD’s of all the department were also present during the inauguration session along with the faculty members of the college.

Dr. Nagaraj Bhat, Head department of CSE organized the event and Mr. Venugopal Rao A. S compeered the program.
