Guest Lecture by Dhananjaya Udupa

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management in association with its IOT club and ISTE student chapter organized a talk for the benefit of final and pre-final year students on Saturday, 17 November 2018. Mr. Dhananjaya Udupa, Director, Product Management, Philips Lighting, Bengaluru, was the resource person. He spoke on the topic “Corporate World Decoded: Secrets of success at work”. He started his talk by sharing his 23 year journey in the corporate world giving tips on how to face different challenges at work at different levels. Later he explained the different technology trends currently being used in the corporate world and finally concluded his talk by sharing few points on how important it is to adapt oneself to the multi-cultural environment while working in a multi-national company. Ms. Lavanya, third year student compered the program, Dr. Balachandra Achar, HoD, Electronics and communication felicitated the speaker at the end of the program. Faculty and student coordinators of the ISTE chapter and IOT club were also present during the talk.
