Graduation Day 2023

The Graduation Ceremony for the 10^th outgoing batch of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi, was held in the institute premises on Saturday, 26^th August 2023.

Paramapoojya Shri Vidyavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Kaniyoor Matha congratulated and blessed the graduates. While addressing the gathering, he said that being a virtuous graduate is a real asset to the society. He suggested inculcating qualities like being resourceful, ethical and abiding by a good character in life.  On this occasion swamiji appreciated the outstanding performance of the scientists of ISRO and advised the graduates of the institute to follow their path.

Paramapoojya swamiji honored Ms. Anwitha of Civil Engineering, Ms. Vaishnavi D of Computer Science and Engineering, Ms. Akshatha Anil Kumar Renjal of Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mr. Rathan Patkar of Mechanical Engineering with gold medals for their splendid academic performance.

Dr. Gopal Mugeraya, Vice-President (Technical Education), NITTE (Deemed to be University), was the chief guest and in his graduation day address, he advised graduates to salute parents for their sacrifice and dedication, never forget about their alma mater and always have an attitude of gratitude. He also said that life will teach more lessons than any school and advised never to lose hope. He appreciated SMVITM for giving quality education in this region.

Mr. Somnath Jogi, Managing Director, Kambala Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Mangaluru, was the guest of honor for the ceremony. In his address, he congratulated the graduates and advised to follow their passion and not fear failure. He also said that hard work is the only path to success, and there are no shortcuts.

Shri. P Srinivas Tantry, Vice-President of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, presided over the ceremony. The Principal, Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, welcomed the gathering. Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, congratulated the graduates and appealed to them to achieve many milestones in their future and bring laurels to the institute as well as parents.

HODs of technical departments announced the names of the graduates and Dr. Sudarshan Rao K announced the names of branch toppers.

Dr. Lolita Priya Castelino, HoD of Mathematics, introduced the chief guest. Dr. Subbulakshmi N Karanth, HoD of Chemistry, introduced the guest of honour. Mr. Sudhir, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Mech. Engg introduced Poojya Swamiji. The Vice Principal, Dr. Ganesh Aithal, administered the Oath for the 10^th outgoing batch of graduates.

Dr. Ravindra H J, HoD of Physics, delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Chithkala rendered the invocation. Faculty members Ms. Lahari Vaidya and Ms. Poojashree compered the event.
