Graduation Day 2023

The Graduation Ceremony for the ninth outgoing batch of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi, was held in the institute premises on Sunday, 26th March 2023.

Dr. M S Moodithaya, Pro Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) was the chief guest and in his graduation day address he advised graduates to salute parents for their sacrifice and dedication, never forget about alma mater and always have an attitude of gratitude. He also said that life will teach more lessons than any schools, and to never lose hope. He appreciated SMVITM for giving quality education in this region.

Mr. Prashanth Shenoy Katpadi, CTO/ Co-founder, Unicourt, Mangalore who was the guest of honour congratulated the graduates. He advised the graduates to follow their passion and not to be afraid of failures. He also shared tips to lead a successful life. He also said that hardwork is the only path to success and there are no shortcuts.

Paramapoojya Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Sode Vadiraja Matha handed over the gold medals sponsored by Mr. Prashanth Shet, S.L.Shet Jewellers Manglore for the branch toppers. Ms. Jaanvi S Nilekani of Civil Engineering, Mr. Bhargavaram Udupa of Computer Science and Engineering, Ms. Bhoomika J S of Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mr. Rajath Kumar of Mechanical Engineering won gold medals for their splendid academic performance.

Swamiji while addressing the gathering congratulated the graduates and said that being virtuous graduate is the real asset to the society. He suggested to inculcate the qualities like being resourceful, being ethical and also to abide by good character in life.

Principal Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat welcomed the gathering. Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, congratulated the graduates and appealed them to join hands with the institute to realize the dream of Shri Swamiji to establish Madhwa University in near future.

Dr. Sudarshan Rao K, Dean(Quality Assurance) and all heads of departments were present on the dais. HODs of engineering branches presented the graduates list. Dr. Sudarshan Rao, announced the names of branch toppers.

Dr. Lolita Priya Castelino, Head, Dept. of Mathematics introduced the chief guest. Dr. Subbulakshmi N Karanth, Head, Dept. of Chemistry introduced the guest of honor. The Vice Principal, Dr. Ganesh Aithal, administered the Oath for the nineth outgoing batch of graduates.
Dr. Ravindra H J, Head, Dept. of Physics delivered vote of thanks. Ms. Ranjani, rendered invocation. The event was compered by faculty members Mr. Karthik V and Ms. Akshatha Rao.
