The ISTE Faculty Chapter of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management in association with Uthkrushta Koushalya Foundation, Bengaluru organized a Three Day Faculty Development Program from 16 to 18 July 2019 at the college premises.
Mr. Shyam Sundar, CEO of Paajaka Consultancy Services, Bengaluru took the morning session on the day one and spoke on “Art of being pro-active and methods of being result oriented in life”. The afternoon session was conducted by Mr. Harris, Head HR, Sanria Engineering and Consulting Pvt. Ltd. He spoke on how to be self-motivated and role of the teacher in this changing global scenario.
Second day, Mr. Shyam Sundar discussed few case studies and made the faculty to understand the analogy and focus them on their students. Afternoon session was by Mr. Amarnath Rao from Hyderabad where he conducted group activity and explained the philological aspects of understanding the current students.
Mr. Shashidar Rao, CTO, HornBill SofTech Pvt. Ltd was the speaker for the first session on the third day and gave an insight on industrial need from the outgoing students and explained the role of the faculty in making students industry ready. Afternoon session was conducted by Mr. Amarnath Rao where he briefed on qualities that students need to adapt to be successful in their career.
The principal of the college Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat welcomed the gathering on the first day and Mr. Venugopala Rao A. S from Department of CSE, coordinated the program and thanked all the speakers. Heads of the department and faculty members were the participants of this Three Day FDP.
