Entrepreneurship Awareness Program

The Institution Innovation Cell in association with the Entrepreneurship Development cell of SMVITM has organized the “Entrepreneurship Awareness Program” on 30 December 2022 which was conducted by MSME Development Institute Mangaluru.

Mr. Sundar Sherighar, Assistant Director, MSME Development Institute, Mangaluru lit the lamp to inaugurate the program. During the talk Mr. Sherighar mentioned the importance of the session and also the benefits and support that an entrepreneur can gain from the MSME Development Institute.

Mr. Andar Deviprasad Shetty, President of the Udupi District Chamber of Commerce, spoke about the importance of becoming an entrepreneur and contributing to the nation’s growth.

During the presentation, Mr. P M Pinjar, Lead Bank Manager, explained the various loan schemes offered by the Government of Karnataka and the Government of India. Mr. Sundar Sherighar in his session explained that the qualities such as confidence, creativity and good mindset is required to achieve success in life.

Dr. Ganesh Aithal, vice principal of the institute, Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, the institute coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Development cell, and coordinators Ms. Usha Parvathi and Mr. Sandesh Kumar attended the program.

The program began with the invocation by Satvik S Bhat and Ms. Avanti, welcomed the gathering and also proposed the vote of thanks at the end of the program.
