Value added course VISTAARA

Civil Engineering department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management in association with ISTE organized a two days value added course titled as VISTAARA- 2 for the nearby diploma colleges on current trends in Civil Engineering field which was held on 24^th and 25^th September 2021 through online platform.

Resource persons from the institution, Dr. Nagraj Bhat, Head of the computer Science department has addressed the students on application weather informatics in civil engineering applications; Mr. Sunil S Haldanker, Senior Assistant Professor from Civil Engineering Department explained the advancement in the soil mechanics and its application. Mr. Roshan S Kotian, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department gave deep insights on legal documentation process involved in the Building plan approval system. Mr. Abhijith, student of Civil Engineering Department demonstrated the project idea generation and its implementation to the students.

More than 100 students have participated from Government Polytechnic College, Karkala, Kamath Polytechnic College, Kundapura, Karnataka Government Polytechnic College, Mangalore, Shri Vidhyadhiraja Polytechnic College, Kumta, Sunkadakatte Niranjana Swamiji Polytechnic College, Sunkadakatte.

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal inaugurated the program, Dr. Sandeep J Nayak, Head of the Civil Engineering Department gave keynote address on self management, Dr. C K Manjunath, Student welfare officer, gave valedictory address. Mr. Sooraj Kumar & Ms. Swathi from Civil Engineering Department organized the program.
