Cleaning drive at Bantakal Engineering College

On the occasion of 72^nd Republic day celebrations, NSS-YRC-RC unit in association with National Cadet Corps of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal organized a cleaning drive from college campus till Durga Nagara bust stop as a part of Swach Bharath Abhiyan followed by flag hoisting ceremony at the college premises. Lt. Col Venu Raman, Officer Commanding of 4 KAR ENGR COY, NCC Manipal was the chief guest. In his address, he motivated the students to be self-reliant for the betterment of our nation and continuing his speech, he inspired the NCC cadets to inculcate the patriotic spirit and join the armed forces. Prizes won by the students on the occasion of Parakram Diwas and Republic Day trophy held for faculties were distributed in the program.

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice Principal and Student Welfare Officer Dr. C K Manjunath, all Deans, HoD’s, faculty, staff, NSS staff coordinators, NCC ANO were present in the occasion. Ms. Akshtha Renjala, Department of Electronics and Communication compeered the program.
