CET-KEA Pre-counseling process and Career guidance program at “Lions Bhavana”

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, under the community club in association with Lions Club Udupi, organized “CET-KEA Pre-Counselling and Career Guidance Program” on Sunday, 20 May 2018 at the “Lions Bhavana”, Brahmagiri, Udupi for the benefit of all student aspirants of Udupi Dist. who have appeared for Common Entrance Test (CET)-2018 conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA). The program focused on giving better insights about various opportunities for pursuing the education after completing second PU science and also to give a clear picture of the CET seat allotment process.

Prof. Dr. Vasudeva, Head of the department of Computer Science and Engineering, SMVITM, engaged a session on “Prospects and Challenges of pursuing a Career in Engineering, Medical & Allied fields”. During his session he presented the various verticals of higher education where one can find a fruitful career. After this informative session, complete insight about CET seat allotment process was given by Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal SMVITM.

Lion.Ranjan President, Lions Club Udupi inaugurated the program complemented that Management of SMVITM for organizing this very useful information and expressed his happiness for hosting this event in association with Lions Club. Shri Ratnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, presided over the function advised the aspirants of higher education to make a right choice of the course which will make their future life fruitful.

Ms Shreya Bhat, student of SMVITM, rendered invocation, Mr. Venugopal Rao A S, Faculty of SMVITM welcomed gathering, Mr. Karthik, Faculty of SMVITM proposed vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Mr. Ananth Mohan Mallya, Faculty of SMVITM. About 100 participants took part in this event and got benefitted.
