Celebration of “Women’s Day ”

Women Empowerment Cell of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2021. Ms. Annapoorna Alse , Scrum Master of Niveus Solutions, Udupi was the chief guest of the program. 

Ms. Annapoorna Alse addressed the gathering and highlighted the important of balancing professional life with personal life and the challenges faced by the working women during COVID pandemic time. She also said that it is important to have goals in life and follow them with passion. Principal Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat addressed the gathering and during his address he shared a few examples of the women who made remarkable achievements in their field of interest. Shri. Ratnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, Udupi presided over the program. Vice Principal Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Women Empowerment Cell Coordinator Ms. Dhanyashree Vinay, Faculty and staff members were present in the program. Fun games were conducted for the female faculty members before the formal function. Ms. Sahana, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE welcomed the gathering. Ms. Jhanvi, member of Women Empowerment Cell introduced the chief guest. Ms. Soumya, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science compered the program.
