Annual Sports Meet Held at SMVITM, Bantakal

The Annual Sports Meet of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal was held on 16 December 2023 in the institute premises.

Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), was the chief guest for the inaugural function held in the morning. Inaugurating the event, he said that taking part in sports is very helpful for physical fitness and sports will help to reduce mental stress in busy human life.  He gave away prizes to the winners in the sports competitions on the occasion.

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of the institute presided over the function. Mr. Paul Suraj, Physical Education Director and faculty, staff and Students were present during the function.

Student sports secretary Mr. Gajendra administered the oath to the participants and proposed the vote of thanks. Attractive March past was held before the inauguration. Mechanical and Civil Engineering students won the best contingent award in March Past.
