Alumni Talk

The alumni interaction activity by Mr. Rajath and Ms. Megha Samaga (2015-2019 CSE Batch) was arranged by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Alumni Cell and ISTE on 05^th October, 2019. The students of final year of CSE department were the beneficiary of this program.

Mr. Rajath is currently working as Trainee Software Engineer in Juego Studios, Bengaluru. He conducted session on trending web technologies that are helpful in projects. He demonstrated advanced topics related to server, 3D graphics, game development, domains etc. He gave demos on LokiJS, Infinityfree, Poly, freenom, Firebase, MongoDB, VSCode, Bootstrap, Materialize, three.js, Aframe, webpack, Cocos, PlayCanvas WebGL, react, ar, material-UI etc. At the end he also told about Google Developers Training and importance of getting course done from it.

Ms. Megha Samaga is currently working as Project Engineer in Wipro Ltd., Mysuru. She shared her work experience in Wipro. She briefed about AMCAT exam and opportunities available through it and how to face interview. She spoke about how experience in engineering life helps in coping up with corporate life. She stressed upon importance of co-curricular/ extra-curricular activities also importance of listening to lectures/training and how it helps in while facing exams. Also she talked about current trends and importance of grabbing the opportunities wherever possible.

Ms. Tejaswini H welcomed the gathering and introduced speakers to the audience. Dr. Vasudeva, HOD, Department of CSE thanked and presented the memento to the Guest speakers. Mr. Deepak Rao M, Ms. Tejaswini H and Ms. Ramyashree, Assistant professors and ISTE/Department Alumni coordinators, Department of CSE, coordinated the event.
