Faculty Development Program on “Enhancing Teaching Methodologies”

Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust in association with Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, organized five day Faculty Development Program on “Enhancing Teaching Methodologies”  in the institute premises for the faculty & staff Members of Constituents institutions under Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust .

The inaugural ceremony of the program was held on 22 April 2019. Rev. Fr. Vincent Coelho, Principal, St John’s Pre University College, Shankarpura was the chief guest of the function. Speaking on the occasion he explained about the qualities of a good teacher and role of a teacher.  Also he said that an ideal teacher must have right attitude and passion towards teaching profession and therby to become a role model to the students and the society.

Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET Udupi presided over the function he opined about the importance of attending these types of FDPs which throw light on recent developments in the concerned fields.  Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, addressed the participants on the occasion.

More than 40 participants from various institutions of SSVMET participated in the FDP. Mr. Vijendra Bhat, Department of  Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering and Lingaraj Ritti  proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Karthik V of Mechanical Engineering compeered the program.
