Technical talk titled as “Advances in Concrete Making Materials”

The Student Chapter of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and Civil Engineering Department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal jointly organized a technical talk titled as “Advances in Concrete Making Materials” at
the institute premises on 17 March 2016. Er. Nagesh Puttaswamy, Regional Head-Technical Services (South Karnataka), UltraTech Cements Ltd., Bengaluru, was the chief resource person for this technical talk. Total 51 students of final year have attended the program. In this session Mr. Puttaswamy had given deep insight on advancement in concrete making and
he also introduced about many waste materials which can be used in the manufacturing of building materials creatively, to make the construction more economical and environmental feasible.
