Alumni talk by Mr. Tibin Baby

The alumni interaction activity through Google meet by Mr. Tibin Baby (2013-2017 CVE Batch) was arranged by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with Alumni Cell and on 06th August, 2020 to final and Pre-final year students of Civil Engineering Department.
Mr.Tibin, Scaffolding Design Engineer, Project-Access Scaffolding & Formwork Co. WLL, began his webinar with his emotional connection with our college and his reality check on the field. He started his carrier as a site engineer at Cochin and later through his contacts went Manama, Bahrain for better prospects. Soon he began his second innings in Project-Access Scaffolding & Formwork Company as a scaffolding junior estimator. Later he was promoted as a scaffolding design engineer and designed many scaffolding works for maintenance and construction notably, scaffolding work for wind turbine maintenance at Bahrain World Trade Centre, providing conventional formwork for various civil works in Al Dur-2 project and access towers for installing ducts and pipes for Alba line-6 power project.
He informed students about scaffolding design using various software, job opportunities in gulf countries and many more. Later he added on how to seek jobs in gulf countries and how confident should be a candidate when it comes to campus interviews and walk-in interviews.
