TECHNICAL TALK HELD AT BANTAKAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE

A technical talk on “Satellite Communication Technology” was held at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal in Udupi district on April 25, 2015 for the Electronics and Communication Engineering students of the college.

The program was arranged by the ISTE student chapter and faculty chapterof the college. Shri. Dinsesh Kumar B.V, Alchemia Technologies, New Delhi was the resource person for the technical talk. Mr. Dinesh Kumar covered topics such as Telecommunication, Satellite System, Geostationary Satellite, VSAT Architecture and others which was well received by the students.

Prof. Dr. A. Ganesha, Dean (Academics), Prof. Dr. BalachandraAchar, HOD of ECE Department, Sri Harish B, Technical Advisor to SMVITM, Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, Secretary, ISTE Faculty chapter and faculties of ECE Departmentwere present during the sessions. Ms. Priyanka K. R Bhat welcomed the gathering at the beginning and proposed the vote of thanks at the end of the program.
