Report on Vanamahotsava Celebration

The NSS unit and the Rotaract Club of SMVITM jointly organised the Vanamahotsava program at the campus on 1 September 2014. Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET inaugurated the program. Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Principal; Prof. Dr. A Ganesha, Dean (Academics); Mr. Kishore Kumar Aroor and Mr. Nagaraja Rao Coordinators of  Rotaract Club and NSS units of  SMVITM respectively; HODs, members of the Rotaract Club and NSS unit; members, of the faculty & staff  and many students attended the program. About100 saplings were planted at different places in the campus during the program, which was held as a part of the on-going efforts to make the campus greener and more beautiful.
