INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF ROTARACT CLUB – 2014

The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, (SMVITM), Bantakal, sponsored by Rotary Shankarpura, was held on 12 August 2014. 

Rtn. Manjunatha Upadya, District Rotaract Committee Chairman (DRCC), Rotary International District (RID) 3180, chief guest on the occasion, addressed the gathering and encouraged the students of SMVITM  to take up more and more Rotary Club activities under the aegis of the SMVITM Rotaract Club. The guest of honor Rtn. Abhinandan Shetty, Former DRCC, RID 3180, in his address briefly explained the importance of the Rotaract movement and congratulated the new office bearers and members.

Rtn. Jerome Rodrigues, President, Rotary Club, Shankerpura acted as the Installing officer at the function.

Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S.  Aithal, Principal, SMVITM appreciated the effective functioning of the club and urged the members of the club to work towards becoming one of the best Rotaract clubs in the state.
