Report on Training program for pre- final year E&C students Programmable Logic Controllers

A one-week training program on “Programmable Logic Controllers” for the pre-final students was recently inaugurated at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal. Dr. Tilottama Shrinivas, Director of Peach Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, who inaugurated the training program, congratulated the students for enrolling in the program, and commended the institute for imparting value-added skills to the students by expert trainers. Mr. Himanshu Kumar, Director of Industrial String Automation, Pune, who conducted the training program, said that training in programmable logic controllers makes the students feel comfortable when they step into the world of industrial automation. Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S Aithal, Principal of SMVITM, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Prof. Dr. Ganesha A, Dean (Academics), SMVITM, was present during the occasion. Prof. Dr. Balachandra Achar H V, HOD of department of E&C Engineering, welcomed the guests to the inaugural function, and Mr. Nagaraj Rao, Asst. Professor (Sr.), proposed the vote of thanks.
