Vanamahotsava

Eco club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, and Rotary Shankerpura, jointly organized the “Vanamahotsava week” on 7th September 2013 at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal.

Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S Aithal, Principal, SMVITM, inaugurated the event by planting a teakwood sapling in college campus. Also few saplings were planted outside the campus, in front of the Main gate. The event witnessed the presence of Conservator from Forest Department Sri Devaraj Panar, Rotary Shankerpura President Rn. Denzil Castelino, Secretary Rn. Francis D’Sa and Rotaract Chairperson Rn. Nandan Kumar. More than 100 saplings of different kinds were planted in the campus during the occasion.

Faculties, students and staff members of the institution, members of various clubs and neighboring Rotary clubs were also present during this occasion.
