Talk on “Recent Trends in Deep Learning” at SMVITM

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal organized an Invited Talk on “Recent Trends in Deep Learning” recently. The event was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the ISTE Student Chapter.
Mr. Mohammed Ameer, Corporate Trainer at Tequed Labs was the resource person for the event.
Deep learning is currently a much happening field. It is also one of the buzzwords in the industry. The speakers gave some wonderful insight to the participants about what Deep Learning is, demonstrated some live examples using Google’s Teachable Machine platform, showed some products which employ the techniques of Deep Learning, informed about various tools that could be used, and answered all the questions which the participants had asked during the session.

Mr. Chethan R Institutional Coordinator ISTE Faculty Chapter, Dr. Nagaraj Bhat HOD Computer Science and  Engineering Department and Ms. Sneha N S faculty from Computer Science and Engineering Department played a major role in the smooth conduction of the event. The vote of thanks was given by Avanti V Rao from 5th semester CSE. Bhargavram Udupa T from 7th semester CSE delivered the welcome address who was also the event moderator. Shrutha V Bhat from 5th semester CSE introduced the speaker.
