Technical webinar on “GATEway to success”

Civil Engineering department in association with The Student Chapter of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management has organized a technical webinar on “GATEway to success” by Prof. Ananth Pai, Founder of Academy in pursuit of engineering excellence (APEX), Mangalore on 09th November 2020. 

Prof. Ananth Pai has started the session by giving brief introduction on GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and its benefits for the students. He has explained the consideration of GATE score in various public sector jobs and government jobs like MRPL, UPCL and many more. He has also stressed upon the opportunities for the young aspirants in research and development sector, higher education in reputed institutions not only in IIsc, IITs and NITs but also in the foreign educational institutions, which can be achieved through the merit in the GATE score. Students were highly motivated to take up the GATE examination seriously right from the second year of engineering which is going to be key to success in the various fields. This event was organised by Mr. Sooraj Kumar, Assistant Professor & ISTE Secretary, Civil Engineering department and supported by Prof. Sandeep Nayak, Head of the Civil Engineering department.
