“Challenge your limits”- An entrepreneurial activity

A student entrepreneurial event – ‘Challenge your limits!’ was conducted for pre-final year students of the department of Computer Science & Engineering in the institute premises on 07 November 2019. The activity was conducted as part of the course “Management and Entrepreneurship for IT Industry”. The event was conceptualized and mentored by Mr. B N Ramachandra and Ms. Ramyashree, Assistant Professors, from the department of CSE.

Mr. B N Ramachandra, Assistant Professor, of Computer Science and Engineering department welcomed the gathering. Dr. Vasudeva, Head of Department, Computer Science and Engineering addressed the gathered students, gave a brief prelude to the event and motivated them towards active participation.

The event included several interesting and fruitful activities. Students had to earn Rs. 100 on their own by involving themselves in some genuine and creative activities. Later, as  a part of real business task, students in large number prepared lemon juice and charmuri and sold it to the audience and earned satisfactory amount of money on their own. Other activities like Toggle Round, Group Discussion about trending topics, sell the Product, Pour the Water etc. were conducted, which enthused the gathering.

Dr. Vasudeva, Head of Department, Computer Science and Engineering gave away the prizes for the winners.

Vice Principal Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Dr. K. K. Srinivasan Professor in Chemistry department, Ms. Vidya Bhat, Training and Placement Officer participated as judges for different events.

Student coordinators Mr. Deepak Nayak and Mr. Raunak Chaudhary hosted the events.
