Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management Bantakal organized three-days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp from 23 to 25 September, 2019. The awareness Program was conducted by Entrepreneurship Development cell of the Institute with support from Department of Science and Technology, government of India, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmadabad. The program was inaugurated on 23 September, 2019 in the seminar hall of the institute.
After inaugurating the camp, the chief guest of the function Mr. K. Socrates, Deputy Director, MSME-DI, Mangaluru, said that more and more engineers should become an entrepreneur, and create more job opportunity. He also mentioned that teachers should guide the students in converting an idea in to a product and the entrepreneurship development cell has to play a major role in this regard.
Sri. Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, Udupi, Presided over the function and motivated the students by saying entrepreneurship is the future of India. He informed students to follow the life story of successful entrepreneurs and get inspiration. Sri Ratnakumar also congratulated the students for participating in large numbers and urged at least 10 percent participants to become entrepreneurs.
The Principal of the institute Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat presented the prelude of the program and thanked EDII, Ahmadabad and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India for supporting the institute by sponsoring three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp.
Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, coordinator of the program welcomed the gathering and Mr. Sandesh Kumar proposed vote of thanks at the end of the program. Ms. Sowmya Bhat compeered the program.
