One Day Work Shop on Easylib Software and Digital E-Resources

Central Library of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal organized   a one-day workshop on the topic “Easylib Software and Digital E-Resources” on July 24, 2019. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Vasudev M Deshpande, co-founder and CEO of Easylib Software Pvt. Ltd. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Deshpande highlighted that, change is constant and that we have to accept it or change will change us. Also, he focussed on the change in technologies and innovation happening in libraries and we have to cope up with this. Presiding over the function, Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM assured to conduct many such activities which are beneficial to the society and conveyed his best wishes for the program. Mr. Nagaraj Rao, Associate Professor and convenor of the workshop, welcomed the dignitaries and participants. Ms. Sowmya S, Assistant Professor, compeered the program and introduced the chief guest to the audience. A total of 40 participants from various colleges participated and were benefitted from this workshop. Ms. Usha Kulal, Librarian of SMVITM proposed the vote of thanks.
