Technical talk on ‘Transportation Projects in India’

With regard to Engineer’s Week -2015, ISTE Student Chapter & co-curricular club in association with Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (ACCE), Mangalore has organized a Technical Talk on 26 March 2015 about “Transportation Projects in India –Opportunities for Civil Engineers” for the students of Civil Engineering department of the institute. Dr.Suresh S.N (Asst. Professor, NITK, Surathkal) was the resource person. He emphasized the opportunities for civil engineers in the transport sector. He had detailed about the transportation projects in India and also gave a detailed description about how the civil engineers should work for the development of transportation in India. He also advised the young budding civil engineers to think beyond so that India’s transportation could be treated as the best transportation across the world.

Mrs. Deepika, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. The chief guest was felicitated by Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Principal, SMVITM.
