A talk on “Effective utilization of Taylor & Francis E-Journals and its uses”

Central Library and IEEE student Branch of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal arranged a awareness talk on “Effective utilization of Taylor & Francis E-Journals and its uses” for the benefit of faculty and students on 24 February 2018 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

The resource person for the day was Mr.Vinay Srinivas, Training Manager, Taylor & Francis E-Journals, Bengaluru, gave insights about the discovery and access to scientific and technical content published by the Taylor & Francis Journals and its publishing partners. It publishes quality peer reviewed journals under the routledge and Taylor & Francis imprints. Also he mentioned that Taylor & Francis Open and Routledge Open journals are part of a high quality program of rigorously reviewed, rapid publication open-access journals..Taylor & Francis Group publishes more than 2,500 journals and over 5,000 new books each year, with a books backlist in excess of 120,000 specialist titles. Earlier, Ms. Sanjitha Shetty, Dept. of ECE welcomed the gathering, Ms.Jyothi Kamath Dept.of CSE introduced the guest to the audience. Mr.Nagaraja Rao, Coordinator for Library Committee, Ms.Usha Kulal,Librarian, Mr.Rajesh Nayak, Ms.Sowmya S, Dept.coordinators from ECE and CSE respectively were present during the occasion. A total of 122 members including faculty and students were present and get benefited.
