Alumnus talk on “Preparation for interviews”

Alumni Cell in association with the Electronics and Communication Department organized an Alumni talk. Mr.Rayan Christ D’Souza, a proud alumnus of SMVITM (2012-2016 Batch, ECE) visited the institute on 13 March 2017. He is currently working at Lydnow Training and Innovations LLP, Pune as Asst. Trainer and Product Developer. The talk was held in Seminar hall of Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Mr.Rayan addressed the final year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and spoke on the recruitment process at Lydnow. He explained the types of questions normally asked during the recruitment, the preparations required for facing the interview, and the work environment in the company. He also urged the students to be very good at the basics of Electronics and Communication subjects.

As a special gesture, Mr.Rayan offered 3-week internship at Lydnow for the final year ECE students. In this connection, he interviewed eight students, who expressed their willingness to undergo the internship, and shortlisted one student. He said, he will interview and select third year students, when he visits next time.
