Alumni Get Together – 2017

Shri Madwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal hosted its first ever Alumni get together on 4 June 2017. The inauguration of the event was conducted in Seminar hall of Admin block and the latter part of the event was conducted in the open air auditorium.

The program was inaugurated by H. H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji. Shri Swamiji also addressed the Alumni, mainly focusing the importance of Alumni in strengthening the institution.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, addressed the gathering and focused, Alumni is one of the most important pillars for any institute to sustain. He also stressed that there will continuous and constant effort by the institute to develop and sustain relations with Alumni.

Alumni present in good numbers expressed their gratitude and also shared their experiences about their professional life. The alumni also interacted with their faculty and suggested ideas, scope for students in various engineering departments.

Alumni took part in various events arranged for them and also presented cultural programs. The students presented various entertaining programs dedicated to the Alumni.

Mr. Aditya Kudva S, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Alumni Cell coordinator was the overall coordinator of the event. Alumni coordinators of all departments supported for the successful completion of the event by taking up responsibilities as various committee coordinators.
