INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF ROTARACT CLUB -2018

The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of SMVITM, Bantakal, sponsored by Rotary Shankarpura, was held on 01 September 2018.

Rtn. Malini Shetty, District Rotaract Representative (DRR), Rotary International District (RID) 3182, was the chief guest on the occasion. During her address to the gathering, she encouraged the students of SMVITM to organize many Rotary Club activities under the aegis of the SMVITM Rotaract Club.  Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, SMVITM, in his address briefly explained the importance of co-curricular & extra-curricular activities and congratulated the new office bearers and members.

Rtn. Chandra Poojary, President, Rotary Club, Shankerpura acted as the Installing officer at the function. Rtn.Edward Mendoza, Club Chairman, Mr. Kishor Kumar Aroor, Institutional NSS –YRC-RC Coordinator, Immediate Past President Rtn. Shriraksha Acharya are also delivered their messages on the occasion.    Departmental coordinators Mr. Narayan Nayak, Mr. Ganesh Shetty, Mr. B.N. Ramachandra and HODs and Section heads of various departments were present during the ceremony.

For the academic year 2018 – 19, Rtr. K Aneesh Bhat was sworn in as the President, Rtr. Aparna Patkar as the Secretary, Rtr. Anvitha as the Treasurer and Rtr. Anirudh Rao as the Vice President, Rtr. Divya, Rtr. Keerthana, Rtr. Vaishnavi and Rtr. Meghana were sworn in as the Directors, and Rtr. Gautham as the Sergeant in Arms.

The program commenced with the Rotary Prayer by Ms.Anvitha. Ms.Keerthana welcomed the guests and Ms. Megha S Samaga presented a brief introduction of new President and secretary of the club. Ms. Ramya delivered the vote of thanks. The Program was compered by Ms. Nisha J.
