Technical talk on “Creative Thinking and Identification of Need Statement”

The department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with ISTE Student Chapter of SMVITM, conducted a Technical Talk on “Creative Thinking and Identification of Need Statement”, on 20 April 2017 in the college premises. Mr. Madhu Mohan R from AMC College of Engineering, Bengaluru was a resource person. Students of ME branch were participated.

Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and different is formed. The created item may be intangible or a physical object.

Creativity needs fluency, flexibility, analytical ability, practical ability, elaboration, originality, complexity, modularity & must be able to take risk. Mr. Madhu Mohan also explained creative approach with few examples such as automatic helmet lock, cold water harvesting, bike generator and etc.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Ambarish M, Mr. Pavan Kumar and Mr. Ganesh Kalagi Asst. professors of Mechanical Engineering Dept SMVITM.
