Beach Cleaning Drive at Hoode Beach

The community club of SMVITM in association with Eco club has organized a beach cleaning drive in association with a team of 50 corporates from Bengaluru lead by Ms. Arundathi Rao, Director (Corporate), HP Enterprises, Bengaluru on 19 March, 2017 at Hoode Beach, Udupi. About 40 students of the community club participated along with the Principal, and 3 faculty members. Dr.Thirumaleshwar Bhat. Prinicipal of SMVITM, along with coordinator of community club, faculty coordinator of community club actively participated in beach cleanining drive. Local Panchayat leaders and NSS volunteers of Milagres College also took part in the drive. Mr. Pramod Madhwaraj, State Minister for Fisheries, Sports and Youth affairs visited the venue and appreciated the service. The program was well appreciated by the localities and the tourists.
