Guest Lecture on Signals & Systems

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering along with ISTE Student Chapter organized a guest lecture on Signals and Systems by Dr. Kumara Shama, Professor at the Department of ECE, MIT Manipal, on 11 May 2016. 97 students of IV semester ECE, and the faculty members teaching the subject attended the lecture and enhanced their understanding of the subject. System interconnection, system properties in terms of impulse response, step response in terms of impulse response, Fourier Representation of Periodic Signals, CTFS and DTFS, definition, properties (No derivation) and basic problems, Z-transform, properties of the Region of convergence, Properties of the Z-Transform, Inversion of the Z-Transform were discussed in his session. 97 students of ECE participated in the event.
