FDP on Mastering Python: Emerging Trends and Innovations

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is delighted to announce a five-day offline Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Mastering Python: Emerging Trends and Innovations.” from February 03-07, 2025 Kakunje Software, Mangaluru, and ISTE.This FDP is designed to empower faculty members with cutting-edge technical skills in Python programming and emerging technologies. Through hands-on sessions and expert-led workshops, participants will learn to integrate advanced tools into their teaching methodologies, fostering innovation and preparing students for future industry challenges. The FDP covers a comprehensive range of topics designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in Python programming and its applications. It begins with Python basics, focusing on syntax, variables, data types, control structures, functions, and classes. The program then delves into Python for data analysis and visualization, highlighting data manipulation with NumPy and Pandas and creating insightful visualizations using Matplotlib. Machine learning and deep learning are also key areas, introducing tools like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras, along with hands-on projects involving classification and regression models. Additionally, the FDP explores hardware programming with Python, including MicroPython for ESP32 and Raspberry Pi, enabling participants to engage in hardware integration and experimentation. Finally, the program incorporates Power BI for data visualization, covering data preparation, transformation, and the creation of interactive dashboards. This well-rounded curriculum ensures participants gain both foundational and advanced skills across various domain.
