FDP on Engineering Intelligence : An Advanced Technique in MATLAB

The Department of AI-ML and AI-DS Engineering at SMVITM are organizing a Five Days’ Faculty Development program on “Engineering Intelligence: An Advanced Technique in MATLAB” from January 27-31, 2025 in association with CoreEL Technologies, Bengaluru. This FDP is meticulously crafted to empower faculty and research scholars with the advanced functionalities of MATLAB and Simulink, tailored to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of engineering disciplines. Scheduled over five days, this intensive program adopts a hybrid format, combining the flexibility of online learning with the tangible benefits of on-site workshops. The training is structured to provide a seamless transition from fundamental concepts to sophisticated applications, starting with basics such as the  MATLAB User Interface and symbolic mathematics, then progressing to more complex topics like signal processing, communications, and image processing. The incorporation of modern toolboxes like those for deep learning andcomputer vision equips participants with the necessary tools to undertake complex data analysis and model building tasks. By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, the FDP seeks to foster an innovative educational environment where faculty can effectively integrate cutting-edge technology into their teaching and research endeavors.
