TCS TechBytes – IT Quiz Sparks Innovation at SMVITM

The Co-curricular Committee, in association with the Hobby Project Club at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), successfully organized TCS TechBytes – IT Quiz as part of its co-curricular activities for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was conducted on April 13, 2026, at 1:15 PM in Room A-102.

The quiz drew enthusiastic participation from students across multiple branches, with 27 teams (54 participants) competing in the preliminary round. Designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world technological advancements, the event tested participants across a wide spectrum of domains including engineering, medicine, law, sports, and entertainment.

The competition followed a structured format that challenged students’ technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and teamwork. Participants showcased impressive awareness of current IT trends and emerging technologies, reflecting both preparation and passion for the field. Based on their performance, the top 10 teams advanced to the next stage.

Beyond competition, the event aimed to foster curiosity, encourage continuous learning, and promote awareness of evolving technological landscapes among students.

The program was smoothly coordinated under the guidance of faculty members Ms. Ashwitha C Thomas (Department of CSE) and Ms. Sthuthi Bhat (Department of AI & DS), ensuring effective execution and adherence to all guidelines.
