The Anti-Drug Committee of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM)
is constituted for the academic year 2026-27 to coordinate and implement anti-drug measures within the campus.
The committee functions as a proactive body and works in coordination with Shirva Police Station to support measures aimed at maintaining a safe, responsible, and drug-free campus environment.
The committee comprises representatives from the institute administration, academic departments, IQAC, hostel administration, security, and student representatives to facilitate coordinated efforts towards anti-drug awareness and preventive measures.

The Anti-Drug Committee works in coordination with Shirva Police Station as part of its efforts to coordinate and implement anti-drug measures within the campus.
The inclusion of a representative from Shirva Police Station as a Nodal Officer supports coordination between the institution and the local police authorities in matters related to anti-drug measures.
The Anti-Drug Committee for 2026-27 brings together members representing the institute administration, academic leadership, various departments, IQAC, hostel administration, security services, and students.
