Strengthening the Campus–Parent Connect: 7th Semester Parent–Teacher Meeting Held at SMVITM

The 7th Semester Parent–Teacher Meeting was successfully conducted on 12 September 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall, Administrative Block, SMVITM, Bantakal, with the participation of more than 80 parents.

The meeting featured an insightful session on Academic Development and Placement Strategies, delivered by the Principal of the Institute. The session focused on helping students strengthen their academic performance while preparing effectively for career opportunities and placements.

An interactive discussion and questionnaire session followed, providing parents with an opportunity to seek clarifications, share their perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue on matters related to students’ academic and professional development.

Following the common session, parents visited their respective departments for individual interactions with the Heads of Departments (HoDs) and student mentors. These discussions provided an opportunity to review the academic progress, participation and overall development of their wards and to understand areas requiring further attention and support.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for fostering stronger communication and collaboration between parents, faculty members and the institution, reaffirming SMVITM’s commitment to the holistic development and career readiness of its students.
